Kendrick Lamar's sample of an Alan Parsons Project song is getting the rapper in legal trouble.

The Hollywood Reporter says the management company in charge of songs by late Alan Parsons Project member Eric Woolfson is behind the lawsuit.

Woolfsongs Limited claims Lamar didn't get permission to sample the group's song "Old and Wise" for his track "Keisha's Song (Her Pain)."  The song is on Lamar's 2011 album Section.80.

The company apparently tried to work out the matter with Lamar's camp back in April, but couldn't reach an agreement.  The rapper's team eventually stopped responding to their calls.  Woolfsongs Limited is suing for an undisclosed amount of damages.
