It's no secret that the Foo Fighters are hard at work on a new album.  For a band so big to keep the process out of the headlines is pretty incredible if you think about it.  THAT is respect from the media.  This isn't an update on the music... more on the FUN that the band is having while recording.

Dave & the boys have spent the last 9 days at the Rancho De La Luna Studios in Joshua Tree, California, working on on the new album.

These photos come from Rancho co-owner Dave Catching's Instagram page, @itookthisphoto

Dave, Pat Smear and producer Chris Gross taking a little target practice in between sessions.

Also rumored to be on hand for these sessions are Butch Vig, Joe Walsh from The Eagles and Wallflowers keyboardist Rami Jaffee, who has gone out on tour and been in the studio for other projects with the Foo Fighters.

Bring on the new Foo Dave!!!!
