Cops Name Persons Of Interest In Cardi B & Offset's Autograph Fight

A couple of weeks ago, video surfaced of men in Cardi B and Offset's crew allegedly beating up a man who repeatedly asked the "Bodak Yellow" rapper for her autograph, which she turned down.

"Law enforcement sources tell us the fan was trying to get an autograph from Cardi shortly after 2 AM as she left a post-Gala event," TMZ previously reported. "In this video TMZ obtained, you can see Cardi tells the fan, no ... but he persists saying, 'I'm an autograph hound.' The next thing you see is a bunch of guys stomping someone on the ground."

Since then, Cardi reacted to the video on social media. "If you check my tag pics, I take a lot of pics with fans," the artist tweeted to her fans. "Some people are not fans & sometimes I don’t want no pics and I simply don’t want people too close cause of [my pregnancy]. I don’t know what are people’s intentions sooo I be careful. Why can’t people respect that?"

The fan has since filed a lawsuit against the rappers. Claiming that he suffered face, neck and back injuries; the fan said that when he asked Cardi for an autograph, she replied, "F*** outta here n****, I will slap the s*** out of you." Offset added, "Shut up, bro, before a n**** beat you out here." Shortly after, the attack broke out.

Cops have now in ID'd the three men who served the beatdown. Apparently, cops got a lead when Offset's chain was recently stolen from a hotel room. A new TMZ report claims: "We're told investigators in that case wanted a list of names of authorized people coming in and out of the Migos rapper's room. When they got that list, investigators handed it to cops handling the assault case. Those cops ran background checks on the suspects, checked surveillance and cross-checked the names on social media."

The news outlet continues: "Sources tell us cops struck gold and found images that matched the same gear they were wearing in the assault captured on camera. We're told the three men are currently in Georgia. They're not officially suspects  ... at least not yet."
