Iceland is reopening to tourists -- but only those who make at least $88,000 a year.

The country is anxious is jumpstart its tourism industry again after a nearly 80% drop this year amid the pandemic.

One travel blogger summed it up like this: If you have a great job with great pay, Iceland wants you to visit, stay at an Airbnb, spend money at restaurants, take day trips around, but then eventually go back home so you don't stay and take someone else's local job.
